Judging of the Ironic

Why would you judge the people that you see?
Is it really that you see yourself in me?
How can you be so sure that your way is right?
Stare into your own soul to see if there is light.
Countless wrongs and hurts that last
Could be avoided if we knew our homes were made of glass.
In the name of good, we close our minds
At risk of avoiding the good that we could find.
When others don’t fit our perfect mold
What gives us the right to be so bold?
Before you judge, a look in the mirror would be best
Compassion might then be shown to the rest.
